Welcome

All that we behold and perceive by our senses bears undeniable witness to the existence of God--the stone and the cloud, the plants and the trees, the living creatures, the heavens and the earth and the stars, the dry land and the ocean, the fire and the air, substance and accident. Indeed, we ourselves are the chief witnesses to Him. But just as the bat sees only at night and cannot see in the daytime because of the weakness of its sight, which is dazzled by the full light of the sun, so also the human mind is too weak to behold the full glory of the Divine Majesty. --- Al-Ghazzali

FATHER GOD AND I

This blog contains numerous spiritual conversations between God and I. All things are possible, including of direct communication with our Creator, source of our Spirit.I call this communicating with Spirit. Many have many ways of explaining it. Within this blog, I have also placed some writings from different books and/or people that I have found loving/awakening to my spirit. Thank you so much for visiting. Blessings. Sehnaz

"The Secret Life of God"

I recently purchased a book "The Secret Life of God" written by Rabbi David Aaron and I am very pleased with all I am reading within this book and wanted to share the summary on page 89.and page 184..I recommend this lovely book and the wisdom of this author for your reading too.  ***

"It's a paradox.  The history of the world and your personal history are a monologue written by God....and yet, mysteriously, also a dialogue cowritten by God and us.

God creates the scenes, determines the plot, and orchestrates every act down to the smallest detail.  However, the scene offers the characters the choice to take up the greatest opportunity to know God, to do good and be good.

The Talmud teaches that whatever happens to us is always for the best.  People assume that implies that if I lose my job, an even better job is about to come my way.  But I am not sure that this is always the case.  Losing that great job may be for the best because the next job, which pays less and throws you into a company of very difficult people, gives you a better context for some very life-changing choices to know God and do good.  In this new lousy job you will make less money but become more.

In the end, what is best is not what happens on the outside but what happens on the inside.  Your choices really do make a difference, but the real difference that they make is how they change you."

We are vehicles for God's expression of and participation in a process of becoming perfect.  We imperfect human beings are in this imperfect world to do a divine mission.  The Torah and the commandments define that mission.  Without that divine mission, we are insecure and feel like nothing.  We find inner peace and security when we choose to do what we must do for the One who must be, because in this way we express and experience our true self - the soul, a spark of the Absolute.  The commandments enable us to become the living reflection of God, so to speak, a mirror for God.  Our ultimate goal and only true accomplishment is to serve God in His process of self-reflection and knowledge of His oneness.  Then we will achieve the joyous experience of love.  We are secret agents in the secret life of God.  God lives His secret life on earth through you and me--if we let Him in .

Our mission is to serve, grow, love and know.
This is our ultimate purpose, power, passion, and pleasure.
