I am so glad that I came across to the book "Emmanuel's Book" by Pat Rodegast. I strongly encourage for you to find a copy ( it will be a used one, because it was published in 1985) and keep it dear to your heart. The information and knowledge within this book is highly valuable and honest. I will now put in somethings from this book. Merry Christmas and Many Blessings to you and to your loved ones. Amen.
You and God are one.
The ultimate blending together
of the mind, the heart, the soul and the body
will bring you into complete alignment.
This will then release you
from the reincarnational cycles.
Your ultimate self-realization
is the realization of God,
for you and God are one.
This is what you have travelled
these many, many lifetimes
to discover.
How can I know God or my deepest self when I'm not even sure I have any faith in the existence of these things?
---Faith is not an intellectual thing.
it is a feeling.
You do not have to believe.
You only have to have the intent to believe.
You cannot will yourself to faith
but once you have removed the obstructions,
faith will be there
because it is a natural part of your being.
To truly know God, you must find out who you are.
For now, you can think of God as a higher truth,
a wider reality, natural order,
Divine safety and love.
By this I mean eternal reality
that is generous and kind and loving.
You can make any human image of this that you will
but once you have located your core,
your shining Light,
you will know who God is.
Your Mind cannot possibly understand God. Your heart already knows.
Minds were designed for carrying out
the orders of the heart.
The mind answers the "how" not the "what",
The "what " is a deeper matter.
The greatest war in life within each individual
is between the intellect and the heart-
where the heart is saying, " This is so"
and the intellect is saying,
"I don't understand, therefore I don't believe."
When you are with another human being
are you really communicating with the mind?
Or are you speaking to a soul
and the minds are scurrying around
trying to put it all into order and vocabulary?
When your mind asks " Why?"
you realize how easily it is satisfied
with a superficial answer.
When your heart asks " Why?"
it wants nothing but the truth of God.
