Welcome

All that we behold and perceive by our senses bears undeniable witness to the existence of God--the stone and the cloud, the plants and the trees, the living creatures, the heavens and the earth and the stars, the dry land and the ocean, the fire and the air, substance and accident. Indeed, we ourselves are the chief witnesses to Him. But just as the bat sees only at night and cannot see in the daytime because of the weakness of its sight, which is dazzled by the full light of the sun, so also the human mind is too weak to behold the full glory of the Divine Majesty. --- Al-Ghazzali

FATHER GOD AND I

This blog contains numerous spiritual conversations between God and I. All things are possible, including of direct communication with our Creator, source of our Spirit.I call this communicating with Spirit. Many have many ways of explaining it. Within this blog, I have also placed some writings from different books and/or people that I have found loving/awakening to my spirit. Thank you so much for visiting. Blessings. Sehnaz

Prayer-What is it?(channeled)

____________________________________________________________

This conversation took place on May 30th year of 2011..  I had two inquiries , one being  ..what is a prayer and what is the purpose of a prayer....  and the second was ...to inquire about the year 2012...
Father God's words are in quotes..
I will start with the first topic of prayer....(remember, Father God's words are in quotes and mine are just sentences)

Father God, what is a prayer, or how would you define a prayer and what is the purpose of a prayer?

"A prayer is a communion between you and the heavenly hosts of our side of your being. It is a loving communion with spirits around you and I.  When you say a prayer, your prayers are echoed in our senses.  For this reason we hear every and each prayer on earth, as they are meant to be heard by us."

I see.

"When you feel as though your prayers are not heard by us, please know that each and every prayer is heard.  However, we are not at liberty to always respond to each prayer.  For each prayer serves a purpose for the individual who is doing the praying.  When you say a prayer for someone else besides yourself, this is holy to us for the praying is not self serving.  When you pray for others, they will reap the benefits of your prayers.  For when you shall give, you also receive.  This is what we meant by, when you give, you receive."

"When you pray for something special, like for the well being of another person or someone else, your prayers are heard loudly in our beings, we acknowledge these prayers for they are for the well being of another being.  When you pray for your own self this is also acknowledged, but the prayers for your own self are not as highly regarded as the prayers you say for the others.  For when you pray for others, this is a reflected to your own self.  When you send a healing prayer to another being, this healing prayer will also benefit you as the benefactor."

Thank you Father God.....
